February 19, 2007

LA-VENTURA, the Dutch metal band featuring former ORPHANAGE drummer Erwin Polderman, has been busy in the studio recording its debut album, due later in the year through Razar Ice Records. Tentative songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Trefoil", "Deadline", "Right and Righteous", "The Hunter", "Memoria", "So Cold", "Only Love Will Find A Way", "Leave", "Paradox", "F.O.T.S.", and "Cry". The group has so far completed six of the eleven songs and should have all the tracks recorded by mid-March. Mixing will be done at Sight 16 Studios while the mastering will be taken care of KING'S X guitarist Ty Tabor at his Alien Bean Studios. Studio photos of vocalist Carla Douw during recent vocal recordings sessions can be found at this location. Audio samples are available at RazarIceRecords.com.
